out of the mouth of babes …
In the time since I last posted, a 7 year old student of mine said to me in the tone of one addressing a silly misguided upstart, “Mr. Linsenbardt, when you grow up, you should be an artist. I mean, when you really grow up, because you don’t want to be a tutor.”
Yeah, I like to draw chickens and try to draw baby ducks. This was also the theme of a children's book I read with an ESL student earlier in the day.
This is a gussied up version of a picture drawn by a student of mine. I lef the original at work, but hope to post it soon along with the story we wrote.
